Class Descriptions

Therapeutic Yoga

If you've ever wanted to try yoga therapy, but weren't sure about the one on one component, this class is for you! Get the best of both worlds by taking advance of Danielle's Therapeutic Slow Flow where you'll be guided through a yoga class, with personalized instruction based on the current challenges in your body. This class is ideal for anyone with specific injuries, aches or pains who needs extra support in order to practice yoga. Come to this class ready to address your physical or emotional challenges. For optimal support, it's recommended that you complete an intake form and have at least one private session with Danielle before joining. This ensures you'll receive the personalized attention you need during class.

Prenatal Stretch and Strength

This prenatal yoga class is unique. It offers ample space for connecting with the baby you're nurturing inside your belly, while also addressing the challenges of transition and the feeling that your body is no longer your own. Here, you'll find a supportive community, gentle movement, focused breathing, and stress resilience techniques. As you progress towards childbirth, you'll feel prepared to use your breath and mindfulness to guide your baby into the world.

Stress Reduction Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga begins with gentle movements to explore your body and breath, allowing you to tune into how you're feeling in the moment. This class offers ample freedom to discover movements that suit you best. Midway through, we transition to longer-held poses, enabling you to deeply relax into supported postures. Each session concludes with a soothing Yoga Nidra meditation, enhancing your sense of rest and relaxation.

Parent and Baby (baby wearing friendly!) Stretch and Strength Yoga

In this postnatal yoga class, you'll enjoy movements that strengthen and stretch your body, aiding your recovery from childbirth. This class is perfect for parents who are baby-wearing, want their baby to rest in a car seat or on the yoga mat, or even have a little one exploring the room. 

All classes take place at the Mount Si Wellness Collective.
